The greater the proportion of plants, the number of species, and the density of the arrangement, the higher the material cost and the time required for handicraft.
2. Surface and shape of decoration
A 200 x 300 cm rectangle is 6 m². However, the same area can be divided into multiple panels, run around a door, be built in a recess, or enclosed in an irregular shape. The number of edges, joints, and cuts affects the labor intensity, even if the number of square meters remains similar.
3. Construction and preparation of the substrate
The decoration can be created directly on prepared mounting panels, in a frame, or as a modular system. Complex designs may require additional 3D substrates, structures, reinforcements, spacers, or space for a logo. These costs cannot be accurately calculated based on an inspiration photo alone.
